WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS

We all want our children to develop as free thinkers, to be fearless in exploring new things and uninhibited in expressing themselves. We want them to venture into the world with open eyes, appreciating the variety, the intention and the beauty while wondering if there is a way they could make a difference.

Each adventure with Blue Turtles Swimming is designed to integrate all of this through educational and experiential field trips to places of art, architecture, landscape and more, to investigate the intention behind what they see and experience. Students are given questions to ponder, opportunities to explore and time to develop their own thoughts before they share their impressions. 
 
The adventure culminates in a studio-based design project of self-expression, expanding each student's ability to analyze, explore alternatives and develop improvements that have meaning to them. The premise in the studio is that there are no limits and students are encouraged to create their vision. The process focuses on experiential learning and the act of making to express the amazing ideas and solutions each student conjures.
